In this paper, we draw on literature involving product innovativeness and management models to propose that product innovativeness is facilitated and influenced by practices and principles traceable in different management models. We test our hypotheses with data from a sample of high technology firms. Findings suggest that management models and principles have varying impacts on product innovativeness. Specifically, we found the principles of obliquity, emergence, and intrinsic motivation as significant enablers of product innovativeness, along with extrinsic motivation. Her research spans entrepreneurship (international entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship ecosystems, subsidiary level entrepreneurship), innovation strategies and multinational network structure. She is also the co-author of five books, including case studies on management and entrepreneurship.
